Introduction:
In the present era, pollution is the main problem in the life of human beings. Human beings itself responsible for the increase in pollution in our environment. Man has especially involved directly or indirectly for the creation of pollution in its life. Due to the increase in pollution, so many poisonous gases enter in our healthy environment and results in the destruction of our life. Due to which the life of most valuable gift in nature i.e. human life is being lesser by absorbing polluted air and water. Pollution causes due to increasing of poisonous gases like carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide, nitrous oxide, benzene etc. in the atmosphere.

Types of Pollution:

a) Air Pollution:

Air pollution occurs due to dangerous gases emitted by vehicles, industries, refrigerators, air conditioners and open garbage burning. These gaseous releases carbon dioxide, carbon mono oxide, nitrous oxide, benzene in the environment. Due to which human beings feel difficult to breathe and thus results in many diseases like asthma etc.

b) Water Pollution:

The waste materials of factories, industries when entered in the mainstream and river, gets polluted the healthy water with their contaminated contents. Also, the poor sewage system of our cities & towns polluted our healthy water. It causes many diseases like cholera etc.

c) Noise Pollution:

It occurs due to the heavy sound of vehicles, loudspeakers & radio. In big cities, the sound of vehicles like car, buses, trucks etc are passing within a second and create noise pollution continuously. It posses the stress on human beings through physical and mental health.

d) Soil Pollution:

It occurs due to heavy doses of fertilizers, insecticides, herbicides & pesticides used for the growing of crops in the field. The heavy use of these chemicals releases nitrogen gases in the soil, which results in the soil contaminated and the quality of the soil destroyed. The use of plastic polythene is also caused by soil pollution. The plastic polythene when leftover in the field, can not be destroyed even after thousands of years, thus destroyed the quality of the soil.

How to control Pollution:

  • i) The industrialization of the country should be well planned.
  • ii) The waste materials of the industries should not be leftover near the river or stream.
  • iii) There is a proper sewage system of industries and there is a mandatory option for recycling of water in industry.
  • iv) The sewage system of any city or town should be well planned and it will ensure that the waste material which contains many dangerous contaminants should be destroyed at a specific place.
  • v) They should be limited use of petrol and diesel vehicles in public places.
  • vi) Everyone should know the condition of its vehicles, so that the old vehicles, which releases poisonous gaseous, condemned well in time.
  • vii) There is a total ban on the use of plastic polythene.
  • viii) The farmers should aware of the optimum use of fertilizer, insecticide, herbicide & pesticide for the growing of the healthy crop.
  • ix) People should aware of afforestation. Everyone should plant at least one tree plant on their birthday. If our environment has too many plants, it will automatically control pollution. Because of afforestation the air, water, noise & soil pollution collectively.

Conclusion:

While considering the problems due to pollution, the Ministry of Environment & Climate Change, Government of India has taken up many steps to control pollution. Be the good citizen of a country, it's our responsibility to follow up the rules & regulations made by the government of India for the control of pollution. Due to which, we will save our environment and at the same time, we also left over the healthy environment our future generation, so that they will breathe in the open atmosphere, free of cost.
